ST JAMES CHANGE

GEO. WALLACE’S NEW SHOW Even better ana bigger than that amusing extravaganza of crooks and roof-garden frivolity “Bald Heads” is the new George Wallace show which gets its premiere at the St. James Theatre this evening. “Sparkles,” the latest revue, gives this bright and talented company of songsters, dancers, comedians and comediennes, and musicians opportunity to do its best. The standard of the performance of the Wallace company has been proved to Aucklanders by several weeks’ of splendid entertainment; it has all-round excellence. George Wallace is the author and composer of many of the sketches and musical numbers, and he is also the principal comedian of the company. In an original way he is one of the most humorous of comedy artists who have ever appeared in this city. Among the other talented peoole are Marie Nyman, Marshall Crosby, the Dudleys, the “Flaming Youths” jazz band, and the Six Rascals of snappy ballet girls.
