ROCK TO BE BUOYED

NEAR MOTUIHI WHARF A rock, about 500 feet off the Motuihi Wharf, is to be marked by a small black buoy until a beacon can be erected there. Arrangements are being made by the Harbour Board to do this, as the rock is dangerous to the large number of vessels using the wharf since Motuihi was made available to the public. The rock is awash at low water spring tides, but at high water is within a few feet of the surface. The beacon will be erected by the Harbour Board as soon as possible. rvr yjr rl~ r.’r r.r t't ry- tk tF tF ri- rf- *- -y
