a Today’s Recipe GINGER BEER BOIL eight ounces of ginger ( bruised ) in a gallon . of water for three or four hours; then strain it and add rj seven gallons of cold water. Pour it all lukewarm into a cask into which you have put six pounds of sugar. Stir well and put in tiuo cupfuls of yeast. Let it stand dll night and then carefully skim the yeast from the top. Put in the whites of three eggs and let it stand for two hours before bottling.
