NEW SHOW FOR ST. JAMES
“THE SPARKLERS” TO-MORROW
This evening George Wallace will appear for the last time as the superbrilliant detective in the crook musical comedy, “Bald Heads,” at the St. James Theatre.
To-morrow evening he will appear in a new gem, entitled “The Sparklers,” which we are assured is better than anything that has gone before. George and his company are one of the best set of entertainers who have appeared in Auckland for some time. The crowded houses that have been laughing at his show for the past few months testify to this.
Not only is he himself delightfully amusing but he is supported by a cast which leaves nothing to be desired. Marie Nyman and Marshall Crosby sing like nightingales, the Six Rascals dance like so many Pavlovas and the Flaming Youths play their saxophones like so many Paul, Whitemans. Together the whole crowd of them give a performance that no one can afford to miss.
