REVOLT IN CHINA

THREAT TO SACK CHEFOO BRITISH WARSHIP WATCHING (United Service) SHANGHAI, Wednesday. A brief naval wireless message reports that the land communications with Chefoo have been cut off. It is stated that the fourth division of the Chinese Army is in revolt and has joined the anti-Nationalists, who are threatening to sack the city. The report says officials and their wives have evacuated the city, but whether they are Chinese or foreign is at present not known. The British sloop Magnolia arrived to-day.
