“THE FINEST PORT”
When a letter from the assistant Australasian manager for Canadian National Steamships, expressing appreciation of the way in which the steamships had been looked after during the year was read at the meeting of the Harbour Board yesterday, the chairman, Mr. H. R. Mackenzie, remarked that it was a nice thought. He added: “The commander of the oil tanker said the other day that we had the finest port in the world! ” Chorus of Members: Of course we have!
