PROTECTION OF WOMEN
The secretary reported to the monthly meeting of the Executive Committee of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Society for the Protection of Women and Children on Monday afternoon that 64 new cases had been dealt with since the last meeting. Of this number 47 concerned husbands and wives, six dealt with children, and eight with various Questions. The Inspector had paid 42 visits and visited the Magistrate’s Court 10 times.
The Rev. P. S. Smallfleld, Mr. X). Donaldson and Miss N. L. Dash, secretary, were elected delegates to attend the conference of the New Zealand Society for Protection of Women and Children, to be held in Wellington on February 14.
