STILL MORE PUPILS
AUCKLAND ROLLS INCREASE Latest statistics show that the number of pupils in the Auckland education district is still increasing-. In the December quarter of 1928 there were 68,976 scholars at the 767 schools, including 36,253 boys and 32,723 girls, and the average attendance was 62,924. Compared with the attendances for the December quarter in 1927. the roll number shows an increase of 277 and the average attendance an increase of 1,271.
