CAR SKIDS INTO BANK
PASSENGERS HURT SLIGHTLY
(Special to THE SUN) NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. When a motor-car, driven by Mr. Phillips, of Awatuna, skidded and crashed into a bank at Tataraimaka yesterday, Mr. Thomas, of Wellington, received severe head injuries, and was taken to hospital. Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Stringer, of Wanganui, also passengers, are suffering from bruises and shock. The driver escaped with a slight cut over one eye. Two small children in the ear were uninjured.
