ELECTORAL 'HE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD THE LOCAL BODIES' LOANS ACT. 1926. PROPOSED LOAN OP £675,000 FOR THE GENERAL EXTENSION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE ELECTRIC SUPPIA UNDERTAKING IN THE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT. The Auckland Electric-Power Board hereby gives Notice in pursuance of Section 10 of the above-mentioned Act:— 1. That the purpose for which the loan is required is the General Extension and Improvement of the Electric Supply Undertaking in the Auckland Electric-Power District. ! That the Auckland Electric-Power Board, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such purpose nut of its ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow the sum of £675,000. i 3. That the porposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be a special rate of one-fifth of a penny in the. pound on all rateable property in the Auckland ElectricPower District. ;4. That the Auckland Electric-Power Board proposes to make such loan repayable in twenty-one (21) years, and proposes to make provision for the payment of a Sinking- Fund of not less than Two Pounds Ten Shilling's (£2 10s) per centum pelannum. 5 That the Auckland Electric Power Board proposes to pay out of such loan, such costs, charges and expenses. as the Auckland Electric Power Board may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such loan, but not the Interest and Sinking Fund thereon for the first year.
