SERIOUS CHARGES
KAMO BOY ARRAIGNED
’ On a charge of carnal knowledge of a girl of 15 at Kamo, on November 11, Henry Hughes, aged 17, stood trial in the Supreme Court this morning, before Mr. Justice Blair and a jury. Mr. X. N. Hubble prosecuted for the Crown, and Mr. R. K. Trimmer, of Whangarei, is defending. Hughes is alternatively charged with indecent assault and common assault. Hin Honour made an order clearing the Court.
