DRIVER’S EXPLANATION

An explanation of liow Mrs. Florence Campbell. of Momona Road, One Tree Hill, suffered a fracture to her right leg when she was sitting with her Legs over the side of a motor-truck, has been given by the driver of the truck, Mr. J. Miller. The accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Mr. Miller says that he was passing a car when another motortruck oame alongside and attempted to pass him at the" same time. The three vehicles were abreast, when the second truck struck the edge of the ; pavement and was swung against Mr. j Miller’s truck, crushing Mrs. Camp- ! bell’s leg.
