EASTER TRAINS

DAYLIGHT TO RUN MANY EXTRA EXPRESSES COMPLETE ARRANGEMENTS MADE The Daylight Limited, which will cease running on February 9, will be put into commission again on March 26 for the Easter holiday rush. fares will be available from Tuesday, March 26. until Monday, April 1, and may be used for the return journey until May 4. Arrangements have already been completed for the Easter holiday trains, and several extra expresses will be put on to cope with the rush to the holiday resorts. The Daylight Limited will run on March 26, 27, 2S and 30 and from April 1 to 6, both to and from Auckland and Wellington. On March 27, 28 and April 1 additional trains will leave Wellington for Auckland at 3.36 p.m. each day, and on March 2S another train for Auckland will leave Wellington at 5.30 p.m.

Extra trains for Wellington will leave Auckland at 8.40 p.m. on March 27. 2S and on April 1 and 2. On March 2S the 7.45 a.m. Tau-marunui-Frankton Junction train will run right through to Auckland, and on the same date an extra express will leave Auckland for Taumarunui at 9.30 a.m.

Relief expresses will leave Auckland for Whangarei on March 28 and April 1 at 9.15 a.m. each day, and another will leave Whangarei for Auckland at 12.35 p.m. on the same dates. A special express will leave Auckland for Frankton Junction at 9 p.m. on March 28.

Several night trains will also be run on March 28 for the benefit of passengers who cannot leave by the earlier ones. The first will leave for Tauranga at 10 p.m., the next for Rotorua at 10.20 p.m., and the third for Opua at 10.30 p.m. On March 28 an extra express will leave Opua for Auckland at 8.15 p.m., and on April 1 a special express will leave Rotorua for Auckland at 10 p.m. A special will leave Te Kuiti for Auckland at 6.40 p.m. on March 27, 28 and April 1.

All the trains will be in addition to the ordinary time-table, which will be run as usual.
