DISPENSING WITH TRAM RAILS.—WiII buses of this type be seen in Auckland?—This trolly bus, which drawo its electric power from an overhead wire as do our electric trams, is one of those used in Hartlepool, Ere a-d. When they were instituted, it was stated that the total cost of the new vehicles, the taking up of the tram rails which had been in use and the restoration of the roadway, would come to less than half what it would cost to relay the track for electric trams.
