DONNYBROOK MYSTERY (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) MELBOURNE, Sunday. No trace of the body of Mr. Leslie Williams, who is missing, and whose abandoned car was found at Donnybrook, has been found in the River Goulburn. A diver searched in the vicinity of Seymour, but could not find it. The river there is full of snags. Another motorist has informed the police that he gave a lift to a man closely resembling W r illiams last Saturday morning at six o’clock. The stranger’s hands were swoollen, and he confessed that he had had a quarrel with his mate. A country stationmaster has also reported that he heard a roadside brawl on Saturday night, followed by two shots. The police found two empty cartridge shells in W r illiams’s car.
