Mr. Justice Herdman left for Wellington last evening by the Limited. Mr. H. L. Tapley, ex-Mayor of Dunedin. arrived by the Limited this morning./ He is at the Grand. Mr. G. McNamara, Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department, is visiting Auckland. He is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. O. Moller, provincial organiser of the United Party, has returned with Mrs. and Miss Moller from a six weeks’ motor tour in both Islands. Mr. G. Gore. New Zealand manager for Reckitt’s (Oversea). Ltd., is staying at the Grand Hotel. He will leave in a few days for Wellington, where he will sail for England. Mr. A. M. Samuel. M.P., for Thames, 5a accompanying the Minister of Health, the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, on a tour through Thames. Coromandel, Paeroa and Waihi, leaving to-morrow. Colonel G. T. Hall, of Wellington, arrived In Auckland this morning on military business. Captain Duff, also of the Territorial Forces, arrived this morning. Mr. J. Linklater, M.P. for Manawatu, left Auckland for the South last evening after spending nearly a week in the city. He was accompanied by Mrs. Linklater. The Minister of Health, the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, arrived in Auckland by the Limited express this morning. “He was accompanied by Dr. T. H. A. Valintine, Director-General of Health, ind together they conferred with the Auckland Hospital Board later in the morning. Upon the transaction of his business in this city, the Minister will return to Wellington. Mr. J, Waugh and Mr. Deavoll, private secretaries. Travelled with the Minister.
