NOTICE TO MARINERS JERNINGHAM POINT LIGHT ALTERED POSITION. 600 ft. OOOdeg. from Jerningham Point, extremity, and 110 ft. 225 deg. from existinq lightbuoy. Lat. 41 deg. 17m. S., long. 174 deg. 48m. E. (approx.). Details: A concrete cylindrical beacon, the top of which is now about 3ft. above high-water, is in course of erection in a depth of 28ft. at M.L.W.S. It is expected the beacon will be completed during March. 1929. upon which a flashing red light. 3 seconds, height 17ft.. will be installed, and the existing light-buoy removed.
