NO LAUNCH MISSING

REPORT FROM MONGONUI Press Association WELLINGTON, Sunday. The postmaster at Mongonui has advised the Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department that a thorough search of the beach at Whatuwhinai has revealed no trace of any wreckage. No boats are reported to be missing from adjacent harTbours and no further report has been received from Whatuwhinai. It is thought in some quarters that the object thought to be a launch which disappeared suddenly, was a whale.
