MACDONALD AND McINNES FIGHT FOR THIRD TIME
TO-NIGHT’S CONTEST
This evening Tommy Mclnnes and ‘ Lachie Macdonald will contest a boxing contest for the third time. Thrilling, smashing fights have been | the order on the two previous occasions, and the third meeting promises to be just as good. As each has a win to his credit, the bout this evening should be extra interesting. That there is little between the pair has been proved, and it is largely a ques- i tion of the fittest winning. As regards ability to both give and take punish- ! ment, there is little or nothing to choose between them. In gymnasium work-outs both have shown themselves in the pink of condi- ; Lion. Mclnnes lias been working hard ! and he is confident that he can win the rubber. On the other hand. Macdonald is equally confident, and he has been putting in great work-outs in the gymnasium. The eye which has been injured in both his previous battles with Mclnnes, has healed perfectly, and it will stand a good deal of hard fighting before it again bothers him. This e\ ening s bout should be the star bout ot the three, and to those who have seen the other fights, this battle needs no recommendation. In addition the Northern Boxing : Association has arranged an attractive ; programme of amateur contests.
