CHIEF SECRETARY’S DEATH
LOSS TO NEW SOUTH WALES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 10.40 a.in. SYDNEY, To-day. The death occurred yesterday of Mr. Albert Bruntnell. Chief Secretary in the New South Wales Cabinet aged 63. Deceased was a most popular Minister He was a polished orator and would probably have succeeded Mr. Bavin as the next Premier. Early m his public life he devoted himself to Salvation Army work and temperance activities. He is survived by a widow and six grown-up daughters. Mr. Bruntnell’s remains will be given a State funeral to-morrow.
