AUSTRALIAN ACTORS

MAKE GOOD IN HOLLYWOOD The signing of the South Australian, O. P. Heggie, to a Paramount contract recently, adds one more Australian name to the members of the film colony in Hollywood. Heggie appeared as the messenger in the “Message From Mars,” produced in Australia some years ago. With many others, he went to America, and won success on the Broadway stage. Heggie has been cast in the leading role of the Paramount picture, “The Genius.” Clyde Cook, formerly of the Tivoli, Sydney, is another player who will be seen shortly in Paramount’s “The Docks of New York.” He also played a small part in “Interference,” Paramount’s first fully dialogue picture, and will be seen in a number of other talking productions.
