SETTLER DIES IN HOSPITAL Press Association GISBORNE, Today. Mr. K. F. Reed, a w'ell-known settler and a member of the Matakaoa County Council, who was found unconscious on a bridle track on one of his stations several weeks ago, and had since been lying in the Te Puia Hospital with flickering gleams ot consciousness, died to-day. It is thought Mr. Reed fell from his horse or was kicked by the animal and received concussion.
