Having pleaded guilty to eight charges of theft of benzine and oil in the course of his travels through tho district, the total involved being; valued at £l3 Ifis, Jack McDowell wa3 sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. Thomas John Henry Withers, also charged with the theft of the benzine and a cheese, was admitted to probation for two years.
