A by-election will be necessary in the Bay of Islands as a result of the finding of the Election Court, consisting of Mr. Justice Herdman and Mr. Justice Ostler. They decided that the wrong counting of votes and irregularities in counting were sufficient to justify them in deciding that Mr. H. M. Rush worth was not duly elected and that a new election is necessary. —.Newspaper report.
