BENDIGO BOWLS THREE ROUNDS PLAYED The Bendigo bowls competition of the Auckland Bowling Centre, comprising the rink championship, was played at the Remuera green yesterday, three rounds being decided. Representatives of 26 clubs competed. Matches were played on the “two-life” system. A feature of the day’s play was the defeat of Wright’s Oneliunga team and Parsons’s Dominion rink. Bremner, the Dominion rink champion, was defeated in the first round by Elvy, Devonport. Play will be continued at the Remuera green to-day, games commencing at nine o’clock.
