PUDDING HINTS Yorkshire pudding will be lighter and need less bearing, if you mix the batter a couple of hours before cook ing. Put greased paper over a boiled pudding instead of a linen cloth. If you tie it round with string, making a loop on each side, you will be able to lift the basin from the saucepan more easily. A box-pleat on the top of the cover will prevent the -water from getting into the pudding.
