NASSA AT WELLINGTON. The. Shell Company’s oil-tanker Xassa arrived at Wellington this morning from Balikpapan with a full cargo of bulk oil for discharge at Miramar. QUEEN OLGA REPORTED. Cable advice has.been received by Spedding, limited, that the steamer Queen Olga, en route from Java with sugar for discharge at Chelsea, left Brisbane on Monday morning for Auckland, where she is due next Saturday. SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The Mauriganui leaves Auckland at 3 p.m. on Friday for Sydney and the Marama sails from Wellington the same day for Sydney. The Ulimaroa clears Sydney at noon on Friday for Wellington. All the three vessels are due at their arrival pun.fi<sxr Tuesday morning. PLUME REPORTS.—En route from San Francisco to-. Auckland, the Vacuum Oil Company's tanker Plume has reported bv wireless that. she expects to arrive -at Auckland on Saturday. The vessel will berth at Western Wharf to put out the local portion of her cargo, the remainder j of which is for discharge at Wellington, i Duneuin, and Lyttelton.
«° R ORA T A DELAYED. The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the steamer Hororata has been delayed and is now expected to arrive at Wellington on February 8 from London. The vessel has passengers and mails for Wellington and cargo for discharge at Wellington, Auckland and Bluff. - MATAKANA LEAVES COLON. Cabled news has been received by the Shaw, Savill Company that their steamer Matakana arrived at Balboa on January 24 and left Colon on January 2 0, after a delay of 24 hours in the canal SKfIR he avy traffic. The vessel left Wellington on January 2 for London and W est Coast ports of Great Britain, and is now due at London on ‘February 9. PORT BOWEN FROM LIVERPOOL.— Bringing a general cargo from the West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Bowen is due here to-mor- „ She is to berth at the Prince’s W harf to unload the local portion of her cargo, under the agency of Heather, Roberton, Limited.
CANADIAN TRANSPORTER RETU RN I N G.—The Canadian National Steamships steamer Canadian Trans porter sailed from Wellington at 7.50 a.m. to-day for Napier and Auckland "to complete loading for New York. Boston and Halifax. The vessel will arrive here on faaturday, and efforts will be made to dispatch her Anally from this port on Monday next. MAMILIUS LOADING. The Shaw &avill Company advises that their steamer Mamilius is discharging and loading at Timaru. The vessel is to leave there to-day for Wellington, and is due there on Thursday to continue loading for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain. From Wellington the vessel Will proceed to Auckland, Wanganui. New Plymouth, Bluff and Port Chalmers to complete, and is to sail finally from the last-named port on February 22.
BRUNSWICK DUE .FRIDAY Having sailed from Wellington at eight o'clock this morning, en route from San Pedro Australian ports, the Atlantic Union Oil Company s new Diesel electric tanker Brunswick is due in the stream at Auckland at six o’clock on Friday morning Ihe vessel has been allotted a berth at Western Wharf, where she will discharge the remainder of her cargo of bulk oil from the Paciilc Slope into the company’s tanks at Freeman’s Bay. GABRIELLA DUE FRIDAY—The Northern Company advises that the Gabriella at Auckland on Friday from Port Stephens. She -is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Tatiranga, Gisborne. Napier. Tolaga Bay, and Greyinonth. She loaded at Melbourne, Sydney. Newcastle, and Port Stephens. , Owing to the vessel grounding while entering Port Stephens, a general average will be declared on the Melbourne, Sydney, and Newcastle cargo only.
CARGO FROM THE EAST—The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the Sussex is to leave Newcastle on February 23 for Calcutta direct. She will take the March-April loading at Calcutta, Penang, Singapore and Samarang for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The motor-ship Hauraki is to load during July and August at Calcutta, Penang, Singapore and Samarang for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. NIAGARA SAILS.—In continuation of her voyage from Vancouver and way ports, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Niagara left Auckland shortly after nine o’clock last evening for Sydney.
