Unsuccessful house transactions and the purchase of a ear which proved a liability from the start were the reasons advanced for his bankruptcy by Ernest Jontrom Rice, an engineer, when examined by the official assigneo to-day. The liabilities were £216 and assets £ll.
The meeting adjourned to allow further investigation of bankrupt's affairs.
