IRONMASTERS MEET

OFFICERS ELECTED FOR YEAR The annual general meeting of the Auckland Ironmasters’ Association was held in the board-room of the Auckland Provincial Employers’ Association on Monday. The president, Mr. George Fraser, was in the chair, and there was a good attendance of members. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr. George Fraser (re-elected); vicepresident, Mr. J. S. Dawes; executive committee, Messrs. B. G. Jones (Thames), R. C. Porter, J. W. L. Warren and W. J. Buckley. Messrs. J. S. Dawes and S. E. Wright were appointed to represent the association at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Ironmasters’ Federation, to be held at Christchurch on February 6. At a special general meeting it was decided to nominate Mr. L. J. Schmitt as employers’ representative on the Court of Arbitration, and Mr. S. E. Wright as deputy representative.
