Renown Coals Improve By “NOON CALL” LAST week's firm prices for all the better class securities were fully maintained on ’Change this morning. The actual volume of business registered, however, was light.
In the banking group, Unions saw further business at £ls 13s. New South Wales are very firm with a middle price of £sl 12s 6d. Insurance show little change. Saturday’.. improved buying price for A.P.A.’s is maintained at Bs, with holders asking 10s. New Zealands were dealt with this morning at 47s 3d. sellers withdrawing at mid-day. South British art very firm, with no sellers, .and steady buyers at 64s 6d. Tn coals, sellers of Pukemiros are slightly easier at 695. Renowns hold their increased strength of last week.
. sellers asking 18s this morning. Westports saw further business at 30s. The miscellaneous group is quiet. British Tobaccos are steady on last week’s closing high levels, with steady buyers at 49s 6d. Wilsons Cements were not wanted, with sellers at 42s 3d unsupported.
