“MR. PIM” CONTINUES
VANBRUGH-BOUCICAULT SEASON Such has been the success of that ever popular comedy, “Mr. Pim Passes By,” that the Vanbrugh-Boucicault Company has deemed it wise to extend the season. “Mr. Pim” will take the boards once more this evening, an event that will be welcomed byhundreds of theatregoers who are anxious to see the revival. In truth, the play is one in a hundred, for its evergreen appeal bids fair to place it among the classics of the stage. Moreover, Irene Vanbrugh and Dion Boucicault have set it among the outstanding achievements of their careers. Boucicault’s portrayal of Mr. Pint is the outstanding feature of the production, but Miss Vanbrugh’s Olivia runs it closely, while the remaining members of the company are most adequately cast. The delightful A. A. Milne play was written specially for the two principals and always they have done it the fullest justice. The season will be extended to Thursday, when ‘‘All the King’s Horses” will be presented.
