The fine Australian-made picture of life in Fiji, abounding in wonderful photographic shots of real coral island scenery, entitled. "The Adorable Outcast ’• will be screened at the Rivoli Theatre, Howick, this evening. • The Adorable Outcast” is based on the well-known novel by Beatrice Grimshaw, "Conn of tlio Coral Seas.” The story tells of love and hatred among the white residents of Fiji some years ago. and of the feud which extended even to the native chiefs. No less than 6,000 Fijians appear in several of the scenes. The. tale is intensely dramatic throughout, and it is probably one of the finest films shown m New Zeai iml for some time. Three well-known American actors were secured for the leading roles, in Edmund Burns. Walter Long and typical foreign family.
