RAILWAYMAN HURT

ACCIDENTS THIS MORNING While working in the railway yard this morning William Hare, a fireman, received injuries to his back and had to be taken to the Auckland Hospital. The accident occurred about 10 o’clock. Mi*. Hare is a married man, aged 26. He lives at 30 New Bond Street, Kingsland. His condition is not serious. At about the same time a carpenter, Herbert Quinlan, of 87 Church Street, Onehunga. received injuries to his leg and had to be brought into hospital. He is a married man, aged 47. NORTHCOTE ACCIDENTC When his motor-cycle collided with a motor-lorry, driven by Mr. W. F. Ward, J. Barrett, of 21 Belle Vue Avenue, North cote, received injuries which necessitated medical attention to a crushed foot and a lacerated hand. H. Robertson, of Princess Street. Northcote, was on his way to Takapuna when his motor-cycle skidded on some rough metal and his face and hands 'were lacerated. After receiving medical attention he was able to proceed home.
