MET A STRANGE POLICEMAN "People have been complimenting me on the way I have been going straight.” said Alfred James Massey, r. frequent visitor to the Police Court, who was charged this morning with drunkenness. “I am afraid I cannot compliment you ou your appearance this morning,” replied Mr. W. R. McKean, S.AI., casting a contemplative eye over the man, who was decidedly bedraggled. Massey (leaning confidentially over the dock!: “To tell you the truth, it was a strange policeman who arrested me.”
