METHODIST MISSION
REV. C. G. SCRIMGEOUR TO TELL STORY OF HIS LIFE
To-morrow evening at the Strand Theatre, the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour, Methodist City Missioner, will tell the story of his own life; first as a dissipated youth and then, as a young man, answering the call to the church. It is doubtful whether any man in New Zealand has had the adventures and experiences of this earnest missioner. During the evening "The Wanderer" will be screened. This picture has been produced from the same great source as "The Ten Commandments” —the Bible—and is a screen version of the stage play based on the parable of the Prodigal Bon. In addition to being a great dramatic spectacle the world has been given another document of far-reaching good. Mr. Scrlmgeour’s Sunday evening services at the Strand Theatre are "rowing in popularity. His messages are sincere. The service will start at 7.45 p.m.
