COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waimea left Napier at 2 a.m today for Auckland, where she is due tomorrow. She leaves here at noon on luesday on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Katoa arrived at Auckland this from SQUthern ports. and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. She sails to-night for Portland, where she will load cement for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Waipiata sails from Auckland at five o dock this afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Ivaituna was to leave Greymouth at eleven o'clock this morning for New Plymouth and Auckland, and should arrive here about Wednesday next. The Waiotapu leaves Lyttelton at 5 p.m. to-day for Timaru. Dunedin. Bluff, and Auckland, to complete her disci large of Eastern cai'go. The Kurow leaves Dunedin this evening via Lyttelton, Wellington, and Picton for Auckland, and is due here toward the end of next week. The Cornwall left Auckland this morning: for Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and New Plymouth, to land the balance of her Liverpool cargo. The Corinthic arrived at Auckland this morning from Wellington, and berthed at the Queen’s Wharf to land the remainder of her London cargo. The Kaimanawa sailed last evening for Westport, where she loads again on Monday for Auckland. The Waipahi is to load at Dunedin on Monday, thence Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington for Auckland The Gunbar is due at Auckland on Tuesday from the East Coast, and sails the following day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier, and East Coast bays. The Tiroa is due at Auckland this afternoon from the East Coast. She berths at King’s Wharf, and next week sails for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Richardson steamer Awahou Is due from Gisborne to-morrow and will berth at King’s Wharf. Owing to Tuesday being a holiday she will be dispatched for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne at 5 o'clock on Wednesday evening. The Coronation was to be dispatched
from Auckland early this afternoon for Awanui. The Westport Coal Company’s steamer Canopus sailed last evening on her return trip to Westport. The Hauiti was to have arrived at noon to-day from Coromandel, and was to sail again at 1.45 p.m. for Surfdale. The Kawau returns to Auckland at 4 o’clock this afternoon from Kawau, Leigh and Miingawai. She sails again at 3 p.m. on Monday for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. The Waipu arrives from Waiwera at 9.30 p.m. to-day. The Apanui returns from Mercury Bay and Tairua at 5 o’clock to-morrow morning. The Omana is due at Auckland at 2 a.in. to-morrow from Waiwera, Mahnrangi and Warkworth. She sails again at noon on Monday for Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana. The Motu was dispatched from Auckland this afternoon for Awanui and Waipapakauri. The Taniwha sails from Auckland at midnight tomorrow night for Paeroa. She is due back again early on Tuesday morning. The Claymore is scheduled to sail from Auckland at 9 o’clock to-morrow evening for Whangarei. The vessel arrives back again on Tuesday morning.
