SAFE BREAKER’S HAUL

CHRISTCHURCH BURGLARY AUCKLAND FIRMS ROBBED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. A safe was broken open and £IOO in cash stolen, from a city firm in Colombo Street last evening. Entrance was effected through a window. The door of the safe was unhinged and taken away. The premises were occupied by the Christchurch Agency of two Auckland confectionery firms, Messrs. Browne Bros, and Geddes, Ltd., and Bycroft, Ltd., at 551 Colombo Street.
