The speaker was Mr. Charles Munro, of Fox Movietone, who has brought to New Zealand the first of the new “talkie” films to be seen in this country. It is possible that the sample will be screened during Mr. Munro's short stay hut, of course, the sound effects cannot be heard until apparatus has been installed.
