ROUTED BY A SCREAM
THEATRE HOLD-UP (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Friday. An extraordinary incident occurred at Daly’s Theatre in Leicester Square. In the middle of the performance a man with a revolver and in evening dress suddenly held up the gallery payoffice girl and demanded the money taken that evening. The girl screamed and dropped below the level of the grill to escape the expected shot, but the man fled to a waiting motor-car and escaped.
