WAIKATO CARD
THE Waikato Trotting Club will Hold its annual cup fixture on March 2 at Claudelands, and will provide Auckland provincial lightharness enthusiasts with another splendid day’s sport. The programme has not yet been issued, but will probably be framed on similar lines to that of last year. One item that might be revised to the advantage of the club would be the Raglan Handicap, which has a rather tight limit of 4.44 for a moderate stake of £l5O. If this prize was offered for a race with a 4.50 limit, or thereabouts, the event would attract a much larger field than is usually the case for the present heat.
