Line has received cabled news that the Port Curtis arrived at New York on Saturday last. The vessel left Auckland on December 21 for New xoik, Boston and Halifax. WAIKAWA AT NAPIER. From Pacific Coast ports the Union Company s Waikawa arrived at Napier on Wednesday. The - vessel is to leave again todav for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth to complete discharge. MAKURA LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO. —The Union Company reports that the Makur aleft San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon for Papeete. Rarotonga, Wellington and Sydney. She is due at Wellington on February 11. lONIC LEAVES BALBOA. Cabled news lias been received by the Shaw, Savill Company that their liner lonic, en route from London and Southampton to Auckland, left Balboa on Tuesday afternoon. She is due at Auckland on February 12. ANGLO-CH ILIAN DUE SATURDAY. —The G. U. Scales Company has received cabled news that their chartered steamer Anglo-Chilian left Sydney on Sunday morning for Wellington. The vessel is due there on Saturday morning to commence loading for Dunkirk, London and Hull, and will later proceed to Napier. Wanganui a’nd Bluff to complete loading. MIDDLESEX LEAVES LIVERPOOL.— Cabled news has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company, agents for the Federal Company, that the Middlesex sailed from Liverpool on January 19 with cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on February 26. TREWORLAS LEAVES NEWPORi NEWS.—The New Zealand Shipping Company, agents for the A. and A. Line, have received cabled news that their chartered steamer. Treworlas, en route from New York to Auckland, left Newport News on January 17. The vessel is now due at Auckland on February 22. PORT CAROLINE ARRIVES.—The C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Caroline arrived at Auckland yesterday, and berthed at the Queen’s Wharf to continue her loading under tlie agency of Heather, Roberton, Ltd. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel next Tuesdoy for Gisborne, Napier, Timaru, New Plymouth, Wanganui. and Wellington to fill up. She clears Wellington finally on February 17 for London, and West Coast ports of England, via Panama. TREGENNA IN PORT.—Under charter to the Canadian National Steamships, the Hain Line steamer Tregenna arrived in the stream at Auckland last evening from Halifax. The vessel berthed at Prince’s Wharf after inspection in the stream, to discharge the local portion of her cargo of motor-cars and general merchandise. Captain C. A. Woolcock is in command, and has with him the following officers: — Chief officer, Mr. C. E. Curling; second, Mr. J. Brown; third, Mr. J. Adams; chief engineer, Mr. W. S. Evans; second, Mr. P. A. Williams; third, Mr. C. G. I Arthur; wireless operator, Mr. P. W. Lucas. The local office of the Canadian National Steamships advises that the Tregenna is to be dispatched for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin tomorrow to complete discharge. PORT HOBART ARRIVES. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motorship Port Hobart arrived at Auckland last evening from Burnie, Tasmania, and berthed at Queen’s Wharf. Leaving London on November 21 the Port Hobart arrived at Melbourne, via Suez Canal, on December 26. She unloaded at Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Launceston and Burnie, having the last-named port to commence homeward loading in New Zealand. Captain S. C. Cottell is in command, and he has with him the following officers: —Chief officer, Mr. W. G. Jinman; second, Mr. L. Copeland: third, Mr. W. Barth Craig; fourth, Mr. G. L. Webb; chief engineer, Mr. W. M. Nelson; senior second, Mr. J. Rattray; junior second, Mr. L. Bentley; senior third, Mr. C .B. Howie; junior third, Mr. J. W. Lewis; senior fourth, Mr. J. N. Lovie; junior fourth, Mr. V. Harlow; assistants, Messrs. B, Shute, J. Walton, H. French; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. E. Cameron; second, Mr. H. Jarman; first electrician, Mir. A. C. Skedge; second, Mr. R. Clay; third, Mr. C. Caston; wireless operators, Messrs. J. Stuart and H. Lloyd; chief steward, Mr. T. G. Lofts. The locnl agents, the Farmers' Auctionerring Company, advise that the Port Hobart commences loading here and then sails for Wanganui, New Plymouth and Wellington to complete. TOFU A FOR ISLANDS.—At 11 n.rn. to-Bttorrow the local office of the l nion Company is dispatching the Island passenger steamer Tofua from Auckland for Fiji. Tonga, and Samoa. SURREY SAILS MONDAY. — Efforts are beine: made to dispatch the Federal steamer Surrov from Auckland on Alondav evening for New York, Halifax, and The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local loading NIAGARA FOR SYDNEY.—Leaving Suva at 2 p.m. to-day for Auckland* the Union Company’s R.M.S. Niagara is due here on Monday morning to land her passengers, mails, and cargo from Vancouver. The vessel is now scheduled to sail again from this port at 5 p.m. next Tuesday for Sydney. HAURAKI DUE 4 P.M.—A further radio message received b> the k of the Union Company states that the motor-ship Hauraki is now expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at four o’clock this afternoon from the Pacific Coast ports. She is to berth at the King’s Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo before proceeding to Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. CUMBERLAND IN PORT. —An arrival at Auckland this morning was the Federal steamer Cumberland from Napier. She was berthed at the King’s Wharf to continue her loading under the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. She is to sail next Wednesday for A\ ellington. Lvt tel toil, and Bluff, to complete her loading, and is scheduled to clear the latter finally on February 14 for London, via Panama.

PORT OF ONEHUNGA — DEPARTURE TO-DAY HAUTURU (9.30 a.m.), 270 tons, Jack-son-Fowler, for Hokianga. The Hauturu was delayed at Onehunga yesterday owing to the Alanukau Bar being unworkable. She sailed for Hokianga this morning, however. The Rarawa sails at three o’clock this afternoon for New Plymouth. She is due back again on Sunday morning. The. Arapawa is due at Onehunga tomorrow morning from Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato. She leaves again at noon the same day for Wanganui. After being delayed at Onehunga yesterday owing to the Alanukau Bar being unworkable, the Anchor steamer Kaitoa was to be dispatched from Onehunga early this afternoon for Nelson and West Coast ports.
