Mr. Samson Handley, who will represent the British Medical Association at the annual meeting of the New Zealand branch, to be held in Wellington next month, has cabled Dr. J. S. Elliott, president-elect of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association, to the effect that he will leave Sydney on Friday next for Auckland. Mr. G. Woolier, an ex-pupil of the Auckland Grammar School, has been gazetted a lieutenant in the New Zealand Staff Corps after passing his final examination at the Royal Military College at Sandhurst.
