STOREMEN’S AWARD

NEW CONDITIONS AGREED ON Press Association WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A meeting o£ the Conciliation Council was held to-day to consider an application by the union for an increase in wages and other alterations to the present award covering the work of storemen employed in wool and graiu stores throughout the Dominion. A complete agreement upon all the clauses in dispute was arranged Detween the parties and, with the exception of some minor alterations, the new schedule of working conditions is upon the same lines as the existing award. The Arbitration Court will be requested to embody the new conditions in an award of the Court at the next sitting in 'Wellington.
