TOURISTS’ PASSPORTS

KEY TO FOREIGN LANDS ADVICE TO TRAVELLERS (Special to THE SUN) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The need for travellers Including the names of foreign countries they might possibly visit when securing a passport is emphasised by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. P. A. do la Perrelle. Unless specified, passports are issued for the British Empire only. Many tourists, on arrival in the United Kingdom, decided to extend their tour and where there was any possibility of that time and expense would be saved if the names of the countries to be visited were endorsed on the passports in New Zealand. No harm would be done if such countries were not visited, but the trouble arose when the name of a country was not included in the passport.
