CLUB EXPELLED

COMPETED IN CORNWELL CUP RACE ASSOCIATION’S DECISION -Pi-ess Association DUNEDIN, Wednesday. At a meeting of the Otago Tacht and Motor-Boat Association to-night the president, Mr. J. T. Paul, made a statement in connection with the NorthEast Harbour Boating Club’s action in defying the association’s decision by sending a crew to compete in the Cornwell Cup contest at Lyttelton. Most of the delegates also strongly condemned the club’s action, and after a lengthy discussion a resolution was carried that the club should be expelled from the association. Mr. Paul said he felt sure the association's decision would meet with the approval of the other affiliated clubs and the majority of boating men in Oatgo.
