MISSING MAN

LAST HEARD OF IN AUCKLAND MARTON RESIDENT DISAPPEARS A Marton business man, Mr. Tom Walker, has disappeared suddenly. He was last heard of in Auckland during the Christmas holidays. Until a few months ago Mr. Walker was manager of a butchery business at Mangaweka. He left there to take over a business on his own account in Marton, and was reported to be doing quite well. At Christmas time Mr. Walker came to Auckland on holiday. Later a. report reached his friends in Marton and Mangaweka that he had died suddenly while sitting in a barber’s chair, but this proved to be incorrect. Since then nothing has been heard of Mr. Walker, and his friends have become anxious about him. _ He is a man of about 45 years of age, stockily built and of a genial disposition.
