BURNED TO DEATH
WOMAN’S CLOTHES ON FIRE TERRIBLE MISFORTUNES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11.10 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. A terrible culmination to a series of misfortunes came yesterday, when Mrs. Blanche Partridge was burnt to death. A fortnight previously, Mr. Partridge and his wife lost their home and all their possessions when a bush fire swept their property. Yesterday the woman was boiling clothes in. a kerosene tin, when her clothes caught alight and blazed fiercely. She ran screaming round the yard until her husband extinguished the flames. She died a few hours later in hospital..
