QUEEN OLGA FROM JAVA —The steamer Queen Olga is reported to have left Java on January 12 with a full cargo of raw sugar foi' Auckland. She is due about the beginning of February. TAURANGA SERVICE —The Northern Steamship Company, Limited, advises that, the Ngapuhi is to be dispatched from Auckland on Monday next, January 28. for Tauranga, and remains there till Wednesday, January 30. She leaves at 7 p.m. that day for Auckland. PETROLEUM FROM TEXAS —Messrs. R. Millar and Company have received advice that the motor-ship Cape York is due at Auckland next Monday with case oil and other petroleum products from Port Arthur, Texas. Her discharging ports are Auckland, Wellington, Napier, New Plymouth, Beauty Point, Geelong and Adelaide. HERMINIUS FROM ANTWERP. —A S Paterson and Company, Ltd.. have received advice that the Shaw, Savin arid Albion steamer Herminius was dispatched from Antwerp on aJnuary 16 with 6.500 tons of basic slag for Auckland. She is due on February 23.
TOFUA SAILS SATURDAY. —At 11 a.m. on Saturday tlie Union Company's Island passenger steamer Tofua leaves Auckland on her monthly voyage to Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa. HAURAKI DUE FRIDAY—Due.at Auckland on Friday from the Pacific Coast ports, the Union Company’s motor ship Hauraki, after discharge here, proceeds to Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney to complete discharge. CARGO FROM EAST —The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the cargo steamer Waiotapu leaves Lyttelton on Friday for Timaru, thence Dunedin, Bluff. Wellington and Auckland, to complete her discharge of Eastern cargo. RUAPEHU SAILS —Shortly after midnight the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruapehu left Auckland for Lyttelton, thence Wellington to fill up I for Home. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on January 31 for Southampton and London, via Panama. I NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER.—From Vancouver and Honolulu the Royal Mail liner Niagara is due at Suva on Friday and at Auckland next Monday morning. After landing passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand, the vessel is to leave Auckland for Sydney at ten o’clock on Monday night. SURREY COMPLETING—-To complete her loading under the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Federal steamer Surrey arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon from Tokomaru Baj and berthed at the Central Wharf. It is now hoped to dispatch the vessel from here next Monday, January 2S, for New York, Halifax and London, via Panama. CUMBERLAND DUE FRI DAY—Tll€ local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the Federal steamer Cumberland leaves Napiei to-morrow for Auckland, where she is due on Friday to continue her loading foi Hoi he. It is hoped to dispatch the vesse! from this port next Monday for Wellington, Lyttelton and Bluff to fill up. She is to sail finally from Bluff on February 14 for London, via Panama. KIA ORA’S PROGRAMME.—L. D. Nathan and Company have been advised of the projected loading programme of Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Ivia Ora, which is due at Auckland on February 2 from Antwerp with a cargo of basic slag for discharge here. On completion of her discharge at Auckt lienee Wanganui, Wellington, Timaru and land, the Kia Ora commences loading here and leaves on February 9 foi’ Oamaru Lyttelton to fill up. She is scheduled tt sail finally from Lyttelton on March 1 foi London via Panama. TAIROA’S MOVEMENTS.— Due at Wanganui on January 30 from Australia, the Shaw-, Savill and Albion Company advises that the steamer Tairoa will commence loading there and will leave again the same evening for Bluff, thence Lytelton, New Plymouth, Napier, Gisborne, Auckland and Wellington to fill bp. She is due here on February 20 and is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on Februai'y 26 for New York, Boston, Halifax and London via Panama. L. D. Nathan and Company will act as the local loading agents. PASSENGERS ON MOOLTAN—Russell and Somers have been advised that the following through passengers for New Zealand are on the P. and O. steamer Mooltan: Mrs. and Misses (2)r Fitzherbert, Miss Mainwaring, Mr. and Mrs. Dixon, Mr. Schultz, Mr. Rutherford, Mr. . Wall. Misses (2) Finlayson, Mr. Harden, Mr. Shipton, Mrs. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Jordon and two children. MAILS ARRIVING—The Chief Postmaster advises that the R.-M'.S. Niagara, due from Vancouver on Monday, January 28, has 344 bags of English and American mail for Auckland. MANILI US TO LOAD. The Shaw Savill, and Albion Company advises that the steamer Mamilius leaves Dunedin on Friday for Timaru to complete her discharge *of London cargo. From Timaru the vessel proceeds to Opua where she is due on February 1 for loading. She later comes to Auckland and is due here three days later. On February G the Mamilius sails again foi’ Wellington, thence Wanganui, New Plymouth, Bluff, and Port Chalmers to fill up, sailing finally from the Otago port on Februai'y 22 for London and west coast ports of Great Britain via Panama. A. S. Paterson and Company will act as the local agents. The Hauturu is due at Onehuliga this evening from Hokianga. She leaves again at 3 to-morrow for the same port.
