accidents on waterfront When some cases of fruit fell from a sling while they were being loaded on to the Waipahi at Queen’s Wharf yesterday morning, H. Abbott, aged 52. of 32 Howe Street, tSTewton, received injuries to his head and back. Me was taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance, but his condition is not serious. While working on Queen’s Wharf yesterday, a labourer, F. Torbett, living at 47 Cook Street. City, tripped, and dislocated his ankle. He was also taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance.
