NEW PICTURES TO-MORROW The Everybody’s Theatre will screen for the last time this evening the interesting iilm describing General Allenby’s campaign in Palestine and fcjyria. This is entitled “Armageddon," and is composed largely of photographs taken at the time, explained by charts and models. An entirely new programme will l>e presented to-morrow evening, headed by “The Matinee Idol,” an entertaining story of life behind the footlights, starring the popular little actress Bessie Love, together with Johnnie Walker. Bessie Love portrays the role of a spirited actress-manager capable of filling in wherever needed, from property boy to little Eva. The plot revolves around the heart interests of this girl and a Broadway favourite, who, at the insistence of his manager, is instrumental in bringing the tent show to New York as part of a revue. The second big attraction to-morrow will be “When Duty Calls” « thrilling picture of the adventures of firemen. Victor Fleming, director of “The Awakening,” the Samuel Ooldwyn picture which stars Vilma hanky, is an enthusiastic aviator who takes his dally spin in one of his two planes as regularly as he brushes his teeth.

Fox Films production, “The Red Dance,” is the most elaborate and ambitious picture yet produced by Raoul Walsh, which contains more real, smashing stuff in it than even his famous “What Price Glory.” Lovely Dolores Del Rio and Charles Farrell are cast in the featured roles, wherein Farrell shows a new side to his screen nature with the glowing ardour of his wooing. During the filming of Fox Films' “The Air Circus.” 40 representative* of newspapers and magazines were invited to the field to see Rollins ard Lake (playing the leads) actually guide the pianos. When the machines took off. the instructors raised their hands above their heads as proof “tin* kids” were at the controls. Rollins and Lake became proficient in less than a month of instruction. Irving Berlin, most successful of popular composers, wrote his first special motion picture theme song for Vilma Banky in “The Awakening.'*
